Best BBQ beef I've had, I didn't know what I was going to order, but gave this place a try and it was fire, food was a little cold but flavor was on point, wish I had some type of hot sauce.
Returning from Seattle to my hometown in Mira Mesa, I really miss the Manila Fast Food restaurant. They offer a wide variety of affordable and delicious Filipino dishes, from snacks to big meals and desserts! The portions are generous, and the food is always tasty. The service is nice. I absolutely love it!
Now I understand why there is always a long queue. Food is great! The experience remains 510 STARS for us. I have lost count visiting Manila FF&D whenever we're in the area; but each visit - it never fails to satisfy our palates and tummies. We arrived past the rush hour lunch time. However, there was still a queue of customers waiting to be served. Food choices are still mouth-watering. We were still tempted to order as many items as we could despite our dietary restrictions (don't tell our doctors). Staff and management remains professional and friendly. If you are not familiar with the choices or it's your first time to visit, ask away. I think they give out samples for you to taste. The ambience is "CROWDED" with moderate noise that's tolerable. Some tables are louder than others as you could "hear" the "private" conversations. If you can only "mute" your ears so as not to hear LOUD "privileged" information, or it would be nice if we could "transfer" to a safe-distance table in the middle of a full-spread meal. Maybe we will just order for "to-go" (take-out) or eat inside our car. - I am kidding. The "loud private" conversation obviously is beyond our control. We quickly enjoyed our lunch and got up fast.
So good! The prices went up this year, but still worth it. Best filipino point point and catering in Mira Mesa. I love that it’s centrally located so I don’t have to travel to National city to pick up food for catering. We love their food and don’t mind the 25 minute drive to get it or the Mira Mesa blvd traffic. I recommend getting there before noon and then reheating food at home (it will still taste amazing). Sometimes they run out of the best dishes by 2pm.
This place is so delicious! It is like a family diner cafe style. You gotta choose the foods from the counter. There are a lot of choices and they offer small size portions, so that you can try different things. The taste-wise is very very nice, it reminds me of my grandmas cooking. The foods somehow are a little bit heavy taste, but I like them. I tried their desserts before. They are super super yummmmm! Sorry I couldn’t really remember the dishes names. But please come here to try it out.
Alfonso and the ladies are very polite and friendly! One thing that impressed me is their effort to get their customers names and use it, it is always a delight when you hear your name, it makes you want to come back and you start being loyal and spread the service and food. Additionally, the staff knows your favorite food!
The line is always long and I get it. Food is great and staff is friendly and quick. It's a step up from the old Manila restaurant.
